ODK
ODK was founded as a family business in Italy in 1992. Originally, the range was limited to powdered drinks such as chocolate milk. As the cocktail scene in the U.S. grew in the 1990s, ODK decided to diversify into the cocktail market. Interestingly, their first foray into this new market was marked by the sale of bar equipment such as cocktail shakers and pourers. It wasn't long, however, before the demand for cocktail ingredients arose. The first cocktail product ODK launched was a sweet and sour cocktail powder. As the popularity of this powder grew, so did the urge to do more in the cocktail market.
Globally, the cocktail market was growing and so were the expectations of bartenders. They wanted to use more sophisticated products that would allow them to be more creative and efficient with their cocktail creations. This was the reason why ODK started to produce its range of fruit purees in 1994. With the increasing demand, the company developed more and more different types of fruit purees, expanding the range enormously. This has become the well-known ODK way; develop a tradition and focus on product innovation.
